When researching magazine front covers, we realised that you need a powerful image on the front. This image is normally of one or more of the main characters. For our magazine cover we decided to have the Mum as the main image, because we are aiming our magazine at an older audience, it would not be appropriate to have the young girl as the main image and for ease of taking the photo, as i was playing the role of the mum it was easier for us as a group to take the photo.
Using the skills we learnt previously in Media AS we were able to use this knowledge to help us complete this task. We used Photoshop CS4 to complete the magazine front cover, this enabled us to create effects and made it easier to collate the Magazine together.
